"Dance" For Deana against Lymphoma!

Deana Parish and our family were broadsided with her diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in February 2014. Though it has taken a lot of courage to ask for help, I have started a GoFundMe to help my aunt though this difficult time. The staggering costs of treatment is overwhelming! Life will always surprise you. It was 4 years ago that my aunt and mother (Deana's twin sister), Debbie Kaitschuck, fulfilled their lifelong dream of opening their own gymnastics training facility, AIM Athletics. Unfortunately, on the same exact day my aunt found a lump under her arm and was diagnosed with cancer. I have always respected and admired her ability to do the unthinkable, to create miracles for our family in challenging times, and to see the impact she has made throughout many lives in the gymnastics community. At the beginning of this journey, my aunt chose to take on her journey to heal with very few family and friends knowing.
She told me, "a cancer diagnosis is not the end, it is the beginning. The beginning of a fight that is more important than any other fight". Aunt Deana knew that she had the best people in her corner and had every intention of AIMING HIGH to beat this! After the surgery to remove her mass and the first round of multiple chemotherapy treatments at MD Anderson, God had answered our prayers! Aunt Deana was in remission! Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is one of those cancers that you will always have to keep an eye on even once you are in remission. It was again in April 2017 that my aunt found another mass, this time it was near her collar bone and growing much more rapidly than the first. My aunt had every intention of returning to MD Anderson, to go back to the place she felt safe, and to beat cancer for the second time. However, it's not always that easy and this time MD Anderson was not covered on her new insurance. After countless sleepless nights of worrying where she would go, she found her current doctor and team at Texas Oncology. "This time around," her doctor said, "the chemotherapy and following treatments will be a lot stronger". I can't imagine the intense desolation my aunt felt, but she continued to show us just how strong she was. Aunt Deana currently has a wonderful team of doctors and has now finished her second round of chemo and first round of radiation. Unfortunately, this type of medical care is not cheap and insurance doesn't cover a lot of the treatments. That is why I am asking for your help.
Aunt Deana (and my mom) have helped many realize their dreams, to succeed, to achieve, and to live their life to their fullest potential. Sometimes God's ways are certainly mysterious and we don't always know why certain obstacles come in to our lives, but for my aunt.. she has overcome this obstacle (twice now) with so much grace, strength, and faith. Over the past 4 years, my aunt has had to pay her $10,000 deductible, plus additional expenses not covered. Her current treatment plan has been denied by her insurance. "Dance" for Deana against Lymphoma is my way of asking for your help to raise funds, because for the second time, she will continue to fight her cancer diagnosis with chemotherapy over the next few years.
