Help A Nursing Student Afford To Graduate

Hey! I’m Damien! I’m a nursing student in his last semester of the program (working on my Bachelor’s), and I owe over $7000 to my college even though I was specifically told I wouldn’t have to pay them! If I don’t pay, I won’t get my degree, which will keep me from getting my nursing license!!

I’ve been working on this degree for upwards of five years now, and it’s been really difficult to even get to this point in the program since I have cerebral palsy and some mental health things, and so I really don’t want all of this effort to go to waste just because I can’t pay! And if I have to go through this whole program again, that would be completely out of the question at this point! I come from a low-income family and was really relying on the financial aid I was supposed to get to finish this degree, so, any help would… well, help! Even if it’s only $1-2! Thanks for the help, even if it just involves spreading this info around!

My friend Damien is in his last semester of his BSN (Bachelor's of Science in Nursing) program. The financial aid office had told him his scholarship would cover the entirety of this school year, including his last semester, but that money got taken away last minute, and now he has thousands of dollars he needs to pay in order to get his degree.

He's already taken out several loans, and is already swimming in debt. He's tried applying for more to cover the money, but he's been denied several times already. This is a last resort to pay this chunk of tuition (and hopefully a little more to cover RN licensing exam fees) so that all the years of work he's put into this degree actually mean something.

Anything is appreciated, if even just a dent can be made in the owed amount, it would make an enormous difference <3
