Dam Break Home Recovery for Michell

Sometimes when it rains it pours y'all but Michell would never let that get us down, and we plan to return the same sentiment to our dear friend in her time of need. 

Our wonderful, smiling, vibrant and huge-hearted friend was recently evacuated from her home in the middle of the night due to a dam failure and breach. When she arrived home to inspect the situation, she found extensive damage to her home and many of her belongings. Despite all of this, she remains positive and grateful as always. While she was hesitant to allow us to set up a fundraiser, we encouraged her to let us help her and give back to an amazing soul that has given so much to the world.

While Michell is still determining the extent of the impacts from the flooding, we do know that she will be needing the following household items and home recovery actions: 

New boiler
New water heater
New washer and dryer
Electrical inspections
Drywall demolition and replacement Water and mold mitigation
And likely much more including day to day items being replaced. 

It is unknown at this time if there will be any insurance coverage or Disaster Assistance. While we are certain there will be plenty of love and muscle from all of us whenever she needs it, we would also love to shower her with some comfort financially so she can feel secure enough to get started in her home recovery.
