Dalton’s Memorial service

Dalton Lee Buckholz was shot by Canon City Police Saturday night during a “traffic stop”. He was sitting in his car with his hands on the steering wheel and unarmed. With seemingly no provocation what so ever he was shot multiple times and died moments later at the seen. The police have showed no probable cause for their actions, and the investigation has been classified as a homicide. This wonderful man didn’t deserve anything that happened to him that night. Dalton was one of the most brave, loving, and compassionate men you would ever have the privilege to meet. He leaves behind his loving girlfriend Miranda Hines and his beautiful daughter Elliana Hines. As well as his father Troy Lee Buckholz, (Michelle Buckholz) his mother Kim Walker, his brother Garrett Buckholz, his sister Brianna Buckholz and an abundance of friends that are all devastated at the loss of such a beautiful soul. The world will truly be a darker place without Dalton. Unfortunately the family is unable to cover the cost for cremation and a proper memorial service. We are asking for any donations to help us provide a memorial service that would make him happy and give his family and friends the closure they deserve.
