As hard as it is to ask for help, I'm bringing my story to all of you and also leaving my care in God's hands!
On August 22, 2017 I was diagnosed with brain cancer. My diagnosis was a grade 4 Glioblastoma, also known as a GBM. My family and I have been told that this is the most aggressive cancer and there is no cure. This is something that will come back. We have been told the medial survival rate for this disease is 18 months. Everyone is different, some go beyond this number and others below.
I have started both chemo and radiation. My chemo is everyday for 30 days and then 5 days per month for the remainder of my life. Radiation is 5 days per week for 6 weeks.
This has caused a financial burden for myself and family, as you know how much insurance, copayments, medications, and out of pocket expenses can cost. I was the provider for my family and this is has been extremely difficult on me.
A donation of any amount, would be greatly appreciated and put towards medical expenses.
