Dale Jr's Trip to Nicaragua

My younger brother Dale Jr., who is 17 years old, has been at Teen Challenge Prayer Mountain Boys Academy since December of 2017. For those of you that know him, know that D.J. is an amazing kid that ended up making some bad choices. Choices which was taking him down the road of destruction, jail, and maybe even death. Thankfully my parents were able to find the funds to get him started in the 15-month program at Teen Challenge. So far D.j has done great. With the desire in his own heart of wanting help for himself he has progressed in the program and has already rededicated his heart back to the Lord. This in itself is a blessing. The program offers a few trips throughout the 15-mouth period, one of which is to travel to Nicaragua to do mission work. D.J.’s counselor talked very high of the trip and has expressed to my parents that he thinks the trip would be very beneficial to Dj. The trip is another finical burden on my parents as the program in itself is very costly.
I have a burden in my heart with the need to help my brother as he continues on this journey to becoming who God wants him to be. With that being said and the fact that I am a college student, the only way to do this is to ask graciously for donations.
I am starting this GoFundMe to try and help raise the money to assist my brother on his journey to experience the missionary part of the program that hopefully will have an everlasting affect on his life to live a Godly life. A life that is full of love, joy, and peace that only God can give.
The cost of this trip is $2,000 which is due April 12. Dj monthly tuition is $3,470 that is due on the 4 th of every month for the next 9 months.
From personal experience on mission trips they are truly life changing, and very humbling to say the least. I also feel that this trip would be very beneficial to D.J. in his new walk of life. I hope that you can find it in your heart to even give just a few dollars towards a good cause.
