Dakota’s TPLO Surgery

Unfortunately my sweet girl Dakota has torn her Cranial Cruciate Ligament, the dog equivalent of a humans ACL. She is a very good girl with a whole lot of life but she needs surgery or she will unfortunately be crippled for the rest of her life. I have an appointment for consultation for surgery on the 17th where I will be getting an updated estimate on what she needs. According to her most recent imaging she seems to be headed towards tearing her opposite leg though which could potentially mean two surgeries. Due to the pandemic I have been out of work I normally work in the comic con industry and it is basically nonexistent this year. I chose 4,000$ because that seems reasonable based on the rough estimates I’ve been given but it could be less or far more. This is an evolving situation but I just want to make sure my baby is healed, I only adopted her a year or so ago and she deserves more happy and healthy adventures than that.
