Daddy When Can I Go Home

Donation protected

Hello to everybody who reads this go fund me page. It is with a very heavy heart to ask you for your help. Sophie & Mitch parents of Jaxson and Bella could really do with your support.

Please take a minute to read below Mitch's announcement of the terrible news he has shared with his friends and family.....

Heart Breaking Words From Jaxson's Dad (Mitch Clark)

Over the past week we’ve been trying get our heads around the information we’ve been given. We'd like to thank all our friends and family for supporting us on this the beginning of our difficult journey.

On the 25th November our poor boy finally got an appointment to our general practice with a temperature, swelled lymph node, sore throat and leg pains.
The doctor was sure it was only growing pains and a throat infection proscribing anti biotics, But because Jaxson’s strong mummy wouldn’t take no for a answer, we was able to take him to Bristol children’s hospital, where later that evening our baby boy was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

As you can imagine our whole world has been turned upside-down and his battle has only just begun. Every sector of the children’s hospital have been amazing, not just for Jaxson but for us as well and we can’t thank them enough.

We are writing this to make people aware and to thank everyone for the kind words and to also make people aware! If you feel your child isn’t right, don’t take no for a answer, you know your child best!.

Give them a cuddle and hold them close, as you never know what tomorrow will bring.

We have a long way to go on the road to recovery but with the amazing staff at Bristol children's hospital and the support of our friends and family, he will get through this.

Thank you for understanding.
Clark family

It goes without saying that as a loving family Mitch & Sophie ask themselves questions such as "What did we do wrong" "Could have we prevented this". In this instance there is no one to blame no one to bring to account, it is just life of which is cruel at times.

Sophie & Mitch have an abundance of love and support all around them but the news is so raw and fresh, reaching out for that support at this moment in time is very difficult when all they want to do is bring their boy home.

Jaxson has just begun his fight to beat this disease within one day of diagnosis
he had his first session of chemotherapy. The doctors at Bristol Children's Hospital have prepared the family for a long haul as in 3.5 years of treatment, Jaxson is only 4 years of age .

The ultimate goal is to ring that bell 3 times and when that BELL has rung he will be nearly 8. Jaxson's family will update us on what's next and how he is doing.

I know personally that Jaxson's grandparents and family are heartbroken. 2020 as a year has been hard for all of us but to deal with this on top of all that can be too much to bare. Jaxson will spend this Christmas in hospital.

Help

Mitch & Sophie work in the catering industry, Mitch is a self employed chef, due to the Covid situation Mitch has not seen any employment for a month or so, they live in a rented house. With no financial support they will lose the house that they have spent two years building into a wonderful safe family home. Please help support them to take the worry of the house, the bills and every day life that we would take for granted. Please help me to support them so that they can concentrate 100% on Jaxson, to able to process all the information being thrown at them daily.

They need to be so strong for each other to be strong for Jaxson.

Mitch and Sophie are wonderful people, parents, family and friends. They are very much loved and I know everyone have the fingers crossed for better news to come.

From Auntie Julie:

Please take time to read this, our handsome kind caring great Nephew is very poorly and needs his mummy and Daddy by his side 24/7 meaning they are unable to work, we don’t want them worrying about anything apart from the children so please anything no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. This could happen to any of our babies. Let’s do this together. Thank you so much .

One Day Mitch & Sophie This Will Happen. Stay Strong we are all rooting for you x

Any donation no matter how small is very much appreciated. Please leave a comment of support and please remember to share..
