We're shooting a psychological horror short film called Daddy Finger and need your help!
The Short Film is a (Black Mirror-esque) psychological horror/thriller focusing on the relationship between a mother and her 3-year-old son; a relationship which is brutally severed as her child becomes increasingly addicted to a disturbing nursery rhyme on YouTube called Daddy Finger. This video is real, if you have small children, you're probably familiar with it.
The disturbing truth behind these videos is that, despite being uploaded to the YouTube Kids app. Most of them aren’t designed for children. In truth, the videos are algorithmically generated and designed to be watched by bots in a bid to exploit the YouTube ad revenue system.
Our Budget is 10k, we're looking for 5. Everything is out of pocket. All money goes to renting equipment and paying our amazing cast and crew. We are taking nothing. We just want the film and the message out there.
