Help Dacia Fight Breast Cancer

Donation protected

It happened while I was sitting on the beach waiting for my customer. I was praying, hoping to receive good news from my daughter, Dacia. She was at the DR’s to learn how far her breast cancer had spread. That day, I knew only a little about cancer. I had lost a good friend to this horrible disease years earlier. I knew that it was something that happened to others but couldn’t happen to my little girl, could it? Dacia was born when Sue & I were 18 and 19. This girl quickly showed us how strong willed and independent she was. When she set her mind to doing something she was not content until it was accomplished. She was not going to be tested was she? She was always a strong, athletic, healthy girl. Nothing stopped her. My customer arrived, time to get back to work. When I finally got to my phone, I checked and saw a missed call & Sue's Text. That’s when it happened, Time Stopped. The cancer has spread throughout Dacia’s upper body. There are numerous locations and it has metastasized to her bones. Stage IV lobular breast cancer (inoperable). I was stunned. I could lose my baby girl. What do I do now? It had always been my job as a dad to fix things. How do I fix this? I have no answers.

It’s now 10 months later.  Dacia was following her oncologist's prescribed conventional treatments plus following the nutrition plan recommended by her naturopath. Our strong willed child has determined that she is going to beat this.  Sam, Ryder, Kaia need their Wife & Mother as much as I need my little girl.

It's normal for children to live longer than their parents but we have no guarantees.  However, there is a thing called Hope. We are focusing on Hope now. Our Hope is in Jesus. Our Faith will see us through this valley. My job is to do whatever I can to help Dacia make it thru this. I am determined to help reduce one type of stress that feeds cancer, stress that comes from financial worries.

The expenses continue.  A natural/organic diet is expensive. The food budget has tripled. Not all treatments are covered by  insurance. At 6 months the bills over insurance coverage reached $20,000.

Recently Dacia & Sam have chosen to focus on Alternative Treatments & Quality of Life over conventional treatment.  They/we need your help with the existing expenses as well as alternative treatment costs, both in the US & out of country.  A recent Naturopath quote: supplements: $300/month; Vitamin C IV's: $11,500 for 20 weeks. That's just the beginning. It's Impossible to list everything.

The Independent Spirit and Strong Will that is helping Dacia battle cancer also makes it hard for her to ask for help. Sam is just as independent. That’s my job, the reason for this request. That’s how I can help because that is what this Dad has always tried to do. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your help.
