This is my dear friend Mari Schroeder. Mari and I have been friends for many years, we created a special bond the first day we met and I knew our friendship would last a lifetime. For those of you that know Mari, know that she is one extraordinary lady and deserves to live the best life anyone could ask for. Mari is kind hearted, loving, funny (extremely funny) and beautiful on the inside and out (and has an amazing voice I might add). I can’t say enough good things about this woman.
Sometimes life throws us a curveball and were faced with challenges that may, at times, be difficult. Mari was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2010, with strength, perseverance, and a bilateral mastectomy, she beat it and was in remission for 5 years. In January of 2016, with a persistent cough and reoccurring signs, Mari was again diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung and Liver Cancer, 2 weeks later, was told it was also in her Bones and Lymphnodes and Chemo Treatment quickly followed. Mari continuously researched ways to fight and cure this disease and learned ways to stay healthy and improve her life. She still fights and takes every opportunity she can to make this sick disease go away. She is committed to making the best choices to keep herself well.
Mari has already been through so much and has inspired so many of us throughout her life. We would love to help her and her beautiful family through their difficult journey ahead. After extensive testing on her specific cancers, her best chance of long-term survival involves not only mainstream treatments, but also Radical Integrative Medicine in Mexico such as Hyperthermia (Heat), High dose Vitamin C, IV Therapies, IPT (Insulin Potentation Therapy), Vitamin B17, Immunotherapy Halo Therapy, Sono Dynamic Therapy, All of these therapies have success rates for treatment. Unfortunately, many of these therapies are extremely expensive, even before factoring in everyday living costs. The Mexican clinic that Mari has been corresponding with, and hopes to go to, will exceed $40,000.
We want to support Mari as much as possible, and help ease her financial burden. Any amount that you are able to contribute will mean so much to us.
This disease has taken a physical and emotional toll on the whole family , Mari and her partner Mike share 3 beautiful daughters, Brittany, Carly and Alyssa, and 4 grandchildren, Denica, Nirvana, Atlas and Aynslee. Everyone deserves the chance to watch their children and grandchildren grow and make memories to last a lifetime, let’s make sure Mari gets this opportunity as well.
