Dianne Ledford Family Fund

On August 17, 2014 Dianne Ledford passed way peacefully at home. Dianne was a daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

Life often threw her lemons but she would win the lemonade contest - not out of luck, but from sheer determination to see through the darkness and forge her way to the light. A single parent of three children and sole bread winner for many years - she was soon parenting her 3 grandchildren, as well.

While working full time she drove the kids to school and did homework with them at night. She attended practices, sporting events, and was their best cheerleader and supporter.

Over a year ago she faced the grim diagnosis of Peritoneal Cancer and fought a valiant fight to the very end. Our dear friend Dianne (with 2 n's) is now running the most spectacular lemonade extravaganza somewhere up there.

All of you who had the honor of knowing and loving her, she is now an angel. When you think of her, as I know you will, please remember her strength, her love, and her constant care of all who have been in her life. Also, if you have a special thought or memory of Dianne that you have, I'm sure her family would love to hear them, so feel free to share.

Please help us to continue reminding her family that despite the deep sorrow of their loss, that Dianne always found her way to the sweetness in life.
