Two years ago God prompted me to participate on a mission trip to Haiti. It was a chance to leave the comforts of home (my own little world) and an opportunity to break my heart while serving others. I came face to face with extreme poverty as we visited a tent city, a stark contrast to my blessed life here. But I also saw an untainted love for God in those same faces living in the middle of that poverty. I couldn't help being changed and challenged in my own faith by these people.
I found out yesterday (August 18th) that once again I have the opportunity to serve the people in Haiti. This time I have only 1 month to raise the support for this trip, all support needs to be received by New Hope Church before or by September 24th. Please help me reach my goal to return to Haiti this October by donating here.
