Rhonda’s medical expenses

Hi everyone. Please donate to help cover the cost of medical expenses for our sister, Rhonda. She’s battling pancreatic cancer which has meant sudden relocation from her home in the Caribbean to the US for treatment without American health insurance coverage. She has had to leave most of her family and source of income behind, and will likely need to do so for a minimum of 9 months. So, please donate what you can.

Rhonda has dedicated her life and career to the fine arts and children of her island home, Antigua. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from NYU, and, prior to her diagnosis, she was an art teacher for 15 years as well as a tap and jazz dance instructor. Most recently, Rhonda has been working on illustrating a much anticipated, locally inspired children’s colouring book.

Due to this sudden diagnosis, Rhonda is currently in Florida receiving treatment. She will need to undergo several rounds of chemotherapy to reduce the pancreatic tumor size which would make surgical removal possible. Funding will be used to cover medical expenses including chemotherapy, medical prescriptions, hospital stays, surgery, other testing and invasive procedures (such as endoscopic ultrasounds, hepatic duct stenting) as well as all other expenses related to her care.
