Finding a home

Donation protected
9/29Please see my most recent update. I thank everyone so much for getting me to a place where I was able to pay my phone bill and get new tires. Now I'm going to need to put down a deposit and rent on a new place and am in a time crunch.

I never thought it would come to this - asking for money from friends. As many of you know, over the last two months, I have received a severe head injury, lost my home, lost my job, and popped two tires on my car swerving to avoid hitting a deer. I'm lucky enough to have transportation temporarily but I don't know how long it will last as the car's owner needs to sell it soon. I've had no luck so far finding affordable used tires, so I'm most likely looking at $300 - 400 for new ones. My car is an all wheel drive so I can't just replace the two that are damaged.

I have a place to stay temporarily. I am thankful for this, but because it's temporary, Kayley has gone to live with my mom. She is everything to me - my reason to exist. I've only seen her a few times this summer and my heart is broken. I need her back.

My cats have also had to go live elsewhere as I can't have them here where I'm staying. I miss them and the love and companionship they've provided. I'm also worried about my 17 year old cat adjusting to her new home - she's been with me since she was a kitten and had never known life without me.

I have had a hard time recovering from my head injury - especially with everything else that has happened. In order to recover from brain trauma, the brain needs "rest." This has been difficult with all of the other stress in my life. I will have good days and head out to function like a "normal" person then pay for it for two days. There are good days and bad days. Some days I'm dizzy and have vertigo all day. Some days I'm exhausted. I tough it out, but it's very difficult. I still haven't fully recovered from the stress and exertion of my move.

It's My cell phone company has been flexible with me in making payments, but at this point, I need to pay the entire past due balance of $500 to have it turned back on. I know that a lot of people think that this is a "luxury" in times of need, but it is also my way of job hunting, being able to stay continuously in touch in order to have an edge up on job leads, and my internet access away from home. Right now, I am expecting a call from at least two potential employers, but with my phone turned off, they can't get in touch.

Even $20 would help immensely. I've sold everything that I can. I'm stuck in a financial spiral and need a job but can't find one without a phone or transportation. Thank you.
