The Auburn D. Lyons Memorial fund commemorates the life of an extraordinary man who met an untimely death. For those who knew him, Auburn was a trusted friend, a caring presence, and a source of positivity. His quick wit and ever growing smile were matched by a remarkable ability to find the humor in the most somber of situations, a natural talent that brought warm laughter and wide smiles. He was a beloved husband, brother, cousin, and friend to so many who leaned on him for support. Auburn would do all he could for those in need. We ask that you return that favor and contribute to his memorial fund.
Auburn leaves behind wife-Janet; brother-William; sister-Robin; many relatives; and his three loved Great Danes-Sonoma, Olympus, and Callaway.
Everyone is welcome to a memorial service and gathering honoring Auburn and his life on Saturday, August 23 at 2pm at the South Gibson United Methodist Church, 2839 State Route 2067, South Gibson, Pa 18842.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested people to consider donating to the Auburn D. Lyons Memorial fund.
100% of the proceeds will be used by Janet to offset the cost of Auburn's Memorial Service, other expenses, and future memorial scholarships.
