Please help Maria!

On Monday, August 11 our dear friend and neighbor Maria passed out in her home. After some back and forth she was admitted to the hospital where it was discovered that her heart rate was beating at only 36 bpm. She has been undergoing a battery off tests to figure why her heart continues to beat erratically and more than likely she will be leaving the hospital with a pacemaker/defibrillator. The doctors preliminary diagnosis of her condition thus far is Sarcoidosis, an auto immune disease however they are doing a more invasive biopsy on Thursday, August 21;  taking larger sections of chest tissue and cutting into her trachea to get the samples so they have lab evidence to back up what the MRI showed.

This is where your help is needed. Maria Is a very strong and hardworking mom. She works full time but does not have short term sick benefits and effective Monday, August 18 is on FMLA leave but not receiving any pay. Maria has worked hard to provide a good home for herself and her kids and we don't want to see her lose everything she has worked so hard for. I know asking for help is not easy for Maria and she will be forever grateful for any help you can provide.

We are asking for help to cover her daily expenses while she is in the hospital and home recovering, unable to work. She needs to focus her efforts on staying strong and healing and not be consumed with stress over how she is going to pay her bills.
