Miss Missouri USA 2015

Being chosen as a contestant for Miss Missouri USA 2015 is not only a personal accomplishment, it is an honor. Miss Missouri USA allows me to express my personality traits of being a confident, goal-oriented young woman. With this once in a lifetime experience I can make a difference in the young woman of today’s society, making them more confident in whom they are no matter what shape, size, beliefs, or values. There are no limitations in life and I strive for all young women to believe that no matter what their dream may be, it can be reached.

Growing up in Iowa and attending the University of Iowa, I had the wonderful opportunity to compete for Miss Teen Iowa USA 2010 and Miss Iowa USA 2013, where I was a semi-finalist at both. Once I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management I decided to take a leap of faith and move to my new hometown of St. Louis. Throughout the past 15 years I have spent my summers down at Lake of the Ozarks as well as working there for 2 summers. Missouri is home and I cannot think of anything more rewarding than representing my home state at Miss USA. 2015.

Involvement within the community is something that I have always valued. I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, The Ronald McDonald House, Nurses for Newborns, The Neighborhood Center, The Children’s Hospital, and Woman’s Safe House. I strive on being a positive and helpful role model for the parents and children to ensure that the children have a warm and safe home.

I have three people in my life that make me who I am today, my mom, my dad, and my older brother Travis. They would describe me as very outgoing, compassionate and caring person who always accepts individuals for who they are. They have supported me in my dream of stepping on the stage at Miss USA and making my dream become reality. I am so proud to call them my family and I cannot thank them enough for all that they do for me. The outpouring love and support I have received from my family and friend’s is extremely thoughtful. Thank you all so much for your support; your generosity is very much appreciated!!

 xoxo
