Replace Stolen Photo Equipment

My friend, John Ginn, is a kind and dear man. He’s been a good friend to me for almost 35 years, and he is always ready to help someone in need. He’s a wonderful photographer, too, and he makes a good deal of his living through it, but unfortunately, his equipment was stolen this week while he was on a working vacation in California. A significant amount of valuable equipment was taken: camera, lenses, filters, you name it. Naturally, he’s devastated. Without the tools of his trade, it will be a challenge for him to re-acquire those tools.

John is very stoic, but I know this affects his heart as well as his wallet; I don’t think he’d mind you knowing that one of his joys is creating beautiful images, like the ones on this page. He would never ask for this kind of help, but he is so deserving of it. I’ve set the target at a level which would help John get a good start on replacing his equipment. Anything you could contribute would help restore John as a photographer, and allow him to share more beauty with the world. Thank you very much.
