This is Raed, his wife Sherine, and their sons Ismaa and Ihab (10 years old), daughter Masa (8 years old), daughter Karmel (4 years old), and son Amir (1 year old).

They have fled from Northern Gaza from an area called

Al Sabra when the bomb started dropping. Tragically, the rest of his family remains in the north and he does not know if they are living. His mother, father, and brothers are still in the north.

The occupation carpet bombed the whole north of Gaza, destroying everything. Imagine your whole town destroyed, everything that you ever knew is unrecognizable. They have lost loved ones, neighbors, everything.

The occupation has targeted the infrastructure of Gaza, so whatever homes they had are gone, banks that held their money are gone, schools they studied at are gone. Can you imagine having to run from your home with nothing but the clothes you are wearing, you and your children barely escaping death? Can you imagine having to ask strangers for money to survive?

The people of Gaza have endured unimaginable terror and yet, they continue with no end in sight during their holy month of Ramadan. Can you imagine being in their shoes? If you can find it in your hearts to give whatever you can to help them get out of Gaza to safety, please know that they are so grateful.
