Tracy Johnson, who started for the Tigers is fighting cancer at a hospital in Atlanta. His wife Stephanie, who has been Johnson’s sole caretaker, and their three young children, need our support.

Johnson is regarded as one of the top combination runners and blockers from the running back position in school history. Over his Clemson career he gained 1,579 yards and scored 23 touchdowns. He had 180 career knockdown blocks, most on record by a Clemson running back. He was also regarded as one of the top short-yardage runners in school history. For his career he converted a first down on a short-yardage situation (third-down or fourth-down and less than two yards to go) 50 of 57 opportunities.

We are writing today to reciprocate all the outpouring of love that Stephanie & Tracy Johnson give. It’s now our time to give back. Stephanie is a dedicated mother of three whose husband was diagnosed with brain cancer over a year ago.

Tracy is currently in the hospital fighting with every ounce of strength that he has. Stephanie is the sole caregiver of Tracy and their 3 young children Dash, Winter, & Willow. She spent the last 16 months caring for Tracy, and is currently driving from Atlanta to John’s Creek to keep normalcy for the children, while spending every possible moment at the hospital with her soulmate.

Stephanie is always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, so asking for help is not easy. While focusing all her efforts on helping her family through this horrible time, working is not possible yet daily needs remain and new needs have arisen. Anything you find in your heart to give will be a true blessing to their family.
