Help Liam Get To Germany

Hello,

My name is Liam and I'm a 11 year old tap dancer from Mississauga.

In April 2015 I auditioned for the Canadian National Tap Team for a chance to represent Canada in Riesa, Germany at a World Level competition ... and I made it!!

The Canadian National Tap Team will be representing Canada at the WORLD DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS. The International Dance Organization (IDO) is a world federation with a membership of over 90 nations representing more than 250,000 dancers from six continents. The best dancers from all around the world will be competing for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE! Canadian dancers are known to be some of the best in the world with several titles to our credit!

Because dance isn't recognized as a sporting event, even though many dancers train 7 days a week, they are as flexible as any gymnast, as graceful as figure skaters and as dedicated as any Olympic athlete, each dancer needs to get their own sponsors to help cover the costs. The costs include: $3500 (choreography, air, hotel, breakfast, ground transportation in Europe, Team Canada Jacket, all fees associated with the actual competition), $300 (costume) and $2500 (chaperone).
