Cynthia Long Renal Cell Carcinoma Expense Fund.

In 2006 My Mom, Cynthia Boyles (Moore) Long, was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. This diagnosis cost her a kidney. Thankfully. She remained free of renal cell carcinoma for the 12 years that followed. In February of 2018 a spot was discovered on her Pancreas. Biopsies were performed and it was determined that this was indeed the return of the renal cell carcinoma. Fast forward 6 months, and despite the best efforts of the local specialists, there are now two places on her liver that tested as renal cell carcinoma. This has gone from no cancer to metastatic renal cell carcinoma in just a few short months. With this in mind, Mom has made the decision to seek out treatment at the Cancer Treatment Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. As a family we are all supportive in this decision but alone we do not have the financial resources to fill the need that she will certainly have. Thankfully, Mom has insurance that will cover 80% of her treatment. Payment arrangements can be made for whatever is left over. The most immediate need will be for travel expenses. Due to her being from out of state, there is no assistance available for her accommodations, food during the stay, fuel costs, or the like. This is where you come in. I am setting a goal of $5000. This will be used for personal expenses of Cynthia Long while she is recieving her treatment in Tulsa. Any and all funds collected here will go directly to her. Hopefully this will cover the out of pocket expenses she will most certainly endure over the next several weeks.
