Cyndee's Care Fund

It was the week before Thanksgiving 2017, when the family had the wind knocked out of their sails. Cyndee, living in Nashville, TN let everyone know that she had renal (Kidney) cancer that had spread to her lungs. Mike (brother) and Janet (sister-in-law) drove to Nashville to be with her. Cyndee took care of loose ends and then Christmas week, Mike and Janet drove down again to Nashville to move Cyndee back to Minneapolis so she could be with family. 

She underwent a 7+ hour surgery in January to remove the cancerous kidney and stop it from spreading to her liver and other kidney. Once she has completed a lengthy healing process, she will undergo chemo treatments in hopes to stop the lung cancer from spreading any further. 

In the meantime, she is living with family but has expenses to work through and is without a job and unable to work. 

There is no cure for renal cancer and her prognosis is unknown at this point. Statistics have shown that 10% have lived up to 10 years while 90% have lived 3-5 years or less. 

We are wanting to help Cyndee out with living expenses and allow her as much comfort and enjoyment in life as possible in the short time she has left. There will possibly be medical expenses that won’t be covered and we want to insure that she is given the best possible care.
