Help with funeral expenses

Scott Nickerson, father of Joseph and Alicia Nickerson and husband of Tina Nickerson, passed away unexpectedly at 1am on 12/27. He had battled esophageal cancer which he was diagnosed with in September of 2014. He has been in remission for 2 years. Scott's life insurance expired right before his diagnosis, and because of being diagnosed with cancer, he was unable to renew his insurance. Scott battled the side effects of the radiation daily even after being in remission. He regularly had to have stents put in to keep his esophagus from closing so he could eat, which put him in pain. The last few months he had finally been doing better, he was able to gain some much needed weight. His passing was unexpected since he was finally doing better, so now the family is left to try to manage the expensive medical bills, as well as the funeral costs.
