Ocean to Ocean Cycle Tour in 2014

Family, friends, and bike-tour-lovin' strangers,

Chelsea and I have finally set a date to tour the US by bicycle. Our trip will take us from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic ocean, and then down from Maine to North Carolina. We will travel through more than a dozen states including Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Windsor (which technically isn't a state), New York, Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, Massachusets and North Carolina.

Our journey will be completely self-supported, which means we will be travelling with sleeping bags, a tent, rain gear, cook accessories, two changes of clothes, and as many Clif bars as we can muster packed Tetris-style into our panniers.

We're very excited about this adventure and the growth this journey will afford us.

Thank you in advance for your help getting us on the road! You all will be in our hearts and minds when we're racing rain clouds, double-layering sunscreen, and battling the headwinds of North Dakota in 2014.
