Mallory's Sarcoma Fund

Don protégé
To start with the basics my name is Mallory.  I am 26 years old, a wife, a mother of 2 boys, Aiden who is 7, and Maddox who just turned 3 on July 25, and a step-mother to my husbands son, Damian, who is also 7.  In May of 2014 I went in for a nerve sheath tumor removal. Initial biopsy of the tumor showed it to be benign, and a portion of the tumor was removed.  Margins were left in the area closest to my nerve in order to prevent nerve damage.  Two weeks later, during my follow-up appointment came the horrible news.  After the extensive panel, the tumor came back to be Clear Cell Sarcoma.  A very rare (only 1% of all sarcomas are Clear Cell), very aggressive, chemo resistant tumor.

For the past 5 weeks I have been getting radiation treatments in Dallas 3 hours away from my home, children, husband, and work.  During my treatment time, my husband has also been deployed to Kuwait.  Any money donated will go towards lodging expenses, major medical bills, and other monthly bills. I've had many people tell me that they would like to donate to help lift some of the financial burden.

Up until now I have been too prideful to ask for help financially, but the bills just keep coming.  The amount owed for radiation, scans, doctor visits, medicines, lodging, etc. is tremendous.

I cannot express how much I appreciate anyone who is willing to help out a total stranger.  I want to take a moment to thank each and every person that takes the time to read my story and help out in any way.  Every dollar counts.

Many thanks from the Dauzat Family.
