Help Me Fly!

I have wanted to be a pilot for about as long as I can remember.  As a youngster I went to countless airshows, played any number of flight similators, and dedicated much of my youth to a program called Civil Air Patrol, which, among other goals, prides itself on educating the public about aviation.  I love planes and being around them.  

For a time, life did take me away from aviation, but after some soul searching I finally decided to take lessons towards my private pilot's license.  Prior to starting lessons at Freeway Airport in Bowie, Maryland I saved $3000 of my own money to start flying but I need some help!  The approximate cost of getting my license at this particular school is about $8000 which is why I'm asking for donations towards an ultimate goal of $5000!

Those of you who know me well know that this is something that I've wanted for a very long time and any help that you would be able to give would be greatly appreciated.  Plus for those who are able to donate I would be more than happy to give a you a plane ride to the place of your choosing (within fuel range of course)!
