Financial assistance for funeral expenses

Hello to the friends and family of my dad, (USN retired E-6 MM1) Leonard Febrero Fababier (Boy). It is with a heavy heart that our beloved dad passed away this morning 7/18/2020 at 5:21am.
My dad is survived by his loving wife Estrella, sons Leo, Shane, Lee, and daughter Vanessa.
I understand that my father was never a fan of "borrowing" money and to be honest I don't think he ever did from anyone. Somehow my dad was always able to provide for us until the end of his life.
As the eldest here in the family in the states, I’m embarrassed to say that we weren’t prepared for this moment financially. With the permission from my mother, we are asking for any financial support that our friends and family can offer. We are at risk of being unable to pay for my dad’s funeral expenses because of our tight funds at the moment, even with doing the most simple viewing and burial plans.
Any help would be appreciated and all the proceeds will go towards helping us lay my father to rest in a decent way during these tough covid times. We also respect accepting the fact that everyone is struggling right now. Please don't feel guilty if you're not able to. If anything, please leave a wonderful memory that you have of my dad. It would bring smiles to all our faces :)
