Fund Paula's Camp Adventure

When I was a kid, I never went to sleep-away camp. While Camp Norma and Art (aka visiting my grandparents) admittedly was awesome, I would like to give an actual camp a whirl. I am turning 45 on August 21, and funding a trip to camp would be a marvelous way to celebrate my birthday.
As a homeschooling and working mother, my days are devoted primarily to the needs of my family and clients. Spending four days among kindred spirits reflecting, building my courage, and exploring creativity and community sounds blissful, so I am asking you to help send me to Life is a Verb Camp! My time there will help me discover how to share my gifts with my family, my clients, and the world in new and expanded ways.
Your donation will send me to camp this November in the mountains of North Carolina. Author Patti Digh, my inspiring friend, created Life is a Verb Camp (http://lifeisaverbcamp.com), where adults can “reclaim your courage, reignite your creativity, and reconnect with your community.”
While I dreamed of attending camp in 2013, the inaugural year, it wasn’t in the cards. This year, unexpected events, like my own health issues and those of loved ones, have demanded time, energy, and financial attention.
My goal will cover the camp registration, lodging, airfare, ground transportation, and GoFundMe fees. If I do not raise enough money to attend camp before registration closes, your donations will go into savings. If I exceed my goal (or travel costs less than expected), any excess donations will go into savings. In either case, the money shifted into savings will be applied to reaching another long-held goal, working with Fabeku Fatunmise in 2015.
