Remembering James Vilfort

It is with a very heavy heart that I create this page on behalf of my dearest friend Audra.
A few short days ago, her love, her companion, her "partner in crime" James suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. If you were lucky enough to cross paths with him, even if only for a short time, you would know that he was an incredibly humble, compassionate, generous and kind man, and to say that he will be missed is a gross understatement. Audra is shattered, if you knew these two well, you would know that they are the ying to each others yang and the void that James will leave is immense and difficult for her to grasp.
I never met his son Jadon, but by the way he spoke of him it was obvious that James was his biggest fan and that his son was one of his greatest joys. He was the type of father or parent that one could only aspire to be and he recently described to me how both Audra and Jadon were like his "best friends" and how happy that made him feel.
I know that both Audra and James have touched many people in their lives, while I cannot begin to understand her grief, I am asking for donations to help ease the financial burden of funeral costs and unexpected expenses related to James's sudden passing. All donations will go directly to Audra.

**I wanted to make a note here that the donations will show in AUD (Australian $) this was something I couldn't change as I am based in Australia and GOFUNDME defaults to that setting. The currencies are close in value and all will be transferred to Audra in Canadian dollars.**
