Hi, we are Nick and Laura Huisinga and we are opening Cuyuna Brewing Company in the fall of 2016 in Crosby, MN! A tiny bit about us...with Nick's background in science and lab procedures he became a natural at homebrewing. He quickly developed a passion and realized that not only did he enjoy brewing beer, but he was good at it. After a family trip to the Cuyuna area we fell in love with the community and all it had to offer. Now we are excited to combine the two by relocating our family to Crosby and opening Cuyuna Brewing Company.
We have purchased the building at 1 E. Main Street and renovations are well underway. At this point, we need your help! In working on our budget with the bank it was actually written in that we needed to crowdfund a minimum of $12k to meet our goal. As with all start-ups we are already experiencing the burden of unexpected costs as well. This is where we need your help.
We need TRAILBLAZERS -- people who like to "make new tracks through wild country"! Be a part of the new tracks Cuyuna Brewing Company is making. Please consider investing in the success of the brewery with a much appreciated financial donation. Check out our perks and experiences, we think we've made it worth your while. (Also note that you can make a donation of any amount by manually entering it, whether it falls within a specific reward level or not, ie. $10, $30, $75, etc.)
