2 years ago in November my friend and team mate, Julie Land, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast Cancer which has spread throughout her body to her brain and bones.
As many of you know 2 years ago in November I shaved my head, the last time it has been cut. Now these golden (or ginger) locks majestically flow down my back (like Rapunzels).
The time is near (I believe it is finally long enough to donate to cancer) to cut this sick flow! But it will take raising $2000 to do it!
Julie is a blessing to all those who have ever met her, she is a fighter and has courageously been battling this fight with cancer along with her family (husband and 2 kids) for the last two years. Julie is a testament of faith as she glorifies God even through the pain and adversity that she faces moment by moment.
Once we have reached our goal of $2000 Julie will get out the scissors and do what all of you have been wanting to do for the last year and a half, and cut these precious locks!
Julie has a wellness fund that she uses for her therapy and treatments. The funds raised in this drive will go to Julies wellness fund.
I am hoping that our goal can be met ASAP!! Please consider helping our sister and her family fight this battle!
