Odyssey of the Mind World Finals
Donation protected
Over 800 teams from around the world will compete in the 37th Odyssey of the Mind World Finals from May 24th to May 29th on the campus of Iowa State University. Third and Fourth graders from Cushnoc Academy in Chelsea, Maine competed locally and statewide - winning 1st place in their division at the state competition which qualifies them to compete in the 2016 World Finals.
Odyssey of the Mind emphasizes creativity and teamwork and has grown into the largest international creative problem-solving competition world-wide.
Millions of kids have been working hard all year perfecting their solutions to Odyssey of the Mind problems and competing within their regions and states.
Only the highest scoring teams in each problem category qualified for the World Finals. This year, the participating students at Cushnoc Academy were invited to compete.
The cost of registration, travel, and lodging can be prohibitively expensive for some of the students families and we would like all of the students who participated locally to be able to compete in the World Finals. Any donations will be incredibly appreciated by these hard working students!
