Everyone has a Curtis Jones Story!
If you were in any way involved/worked in the Denver Concert/Music industry or worked for Denver Public Schools and rode a School bus you know Curtis Jones.
From CSC Security days at Red Rocks, The Paramount Theater, Fiddlers Green, McNichols arena, Dicks Sporting Goods Park and the Pepsi Center .
To Concet Merchandising at all those locations as well as at the Fillmore Auditorium, where he was one of the first people to work there as the "Apple guy", Security and Merch when it opened in 1999.
He is one of the happiest, friendliest, funniest and hardest workers you've ever known.
Curtis needs us now.
As many of you may have heard. Curtis has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He will not be having any Chemo treatments as it will not benefit him. He had a port put in his chest because his Fistula on his arm failed and needs dialysis 3 days a week. He, of course has a great attitude about it and is so far doing well. We have heard from many people that are wanting to help in some way.
Whether you live here in Colorado or are out of state you can help in this way.
During this time we are doing a GoFundMe for Curtis and Tina to help them financially. The money raised will be used for current and future medical treatments, medications, as well as living expenses. With all that they have on their plate finances should be the least of their worries.
If you are here and would like to visit he would LOVE It! Just call before you go and check with Tina to make sure he's doing well that day. It will cheer you up as much as it will cheer him up. He's got some great stories and its great to hear him tell them. If you would like to call or send a Card you can contact Tina, Michael or I.
