Gladys Omaira Porras de Gamez, de 54 años, oriunda de Patiecitos, Estado Táchira Venezuela. Es Ama de Casa, dependiente de su esposo, con un nucleo familiar conformado por 02 hijos. Su condición económica, como todo venezolano, se sustenta en la lucha por el día a día para mantener a su familia de manera modesta.
El 25 de julio de 2019, Gladys fue a la sala de emergencias del Hospital General de Táriba, después de unos episodios de sangrado vaginal anormal , y dolores muy fuertes, se realiza estudios especializados de tomografía, biopsia y resonancia donde le diagnostica CARCINOMA INVASOR DE CELULAS ESCAMOSAS, POCO DIFERENCIADO . INVASION ANGIOLINFATICA NO EVALUABLE. Este carcinoma es de cuello uterino.
Su mundo se congeló.
Gladys ingresó de inmediato en el hospital y luego fue trasladado a la sala de oncología del Hospital Oncológico del Táchira, donde se le practico un Legrado Biopsico, para determinar las sospecha dando como resultado un tumor maligno (Cáncer).
Requiere de seis (06) sesiones de quimioterapia continuada seguida de treinta (30) sesiones de radioterapias que por las condiciones críticas del país, no se pueden realizar en Venezuela, por lo que tiene que acudir a la ciudad de Cúcuta – Colombia para poder practicarse las mismas. Adicionalmente requiere de una cirugía (ESTERECTOMIA TOTAL).
Igualmente sigue luchando abarcando todos los mecanismos para lograr obtener por medios nacionales las quimioterapias.
Según la evaluación de los médicos, el tratamiento de Gladys debe comenzarse a primeros del mes de septiembre 2019 y tomará alrededor de dos años.
A partir de ahora, Gladys necesita apoyo para cubrir sus gastos de vida y gastos de viaje para ir hasta la ciudad de Cúcuta – Colombia para las sesiones de radioterapia. Procedente de un dificil entorno económico, su esposo y familiares carecen de los recursos financieros para apoyar a Gladys. On July 25, 2019, Gladys went to the emergency room of the Táriba General Hospital, after some episodes of abnormal vaginal bleeding, and very severe pain, specialized studies of tomography, biopsy and resonance where he is diagnosed with CARCINOMA INVASOR DE SCAMOUS CELLS, LITTLE DIFFERENTIATED. NON-EVALUABLE ANGIOLINFATIC INVASION. This carcinoma is of the cervix.
Her world froze.
Gladys was immediately admitted to the hospital and then transferred to the oncology ward of the Táchira Oncology Hospital, where she underwent a Biopsy curettage, to determine the suspicion resulting in a malignant tumor (Cancer).
It requires six (06) sessions of continuous chemotherapy followed by thirty (30) sessions of radiotherapy that, due to the critical conditions of the country, cannot be carried out in Venezuela, so she has to go to the city of Cúcuta - Colombia to be able to practice the same. Additionally it requires surgery (TOTAL STERECTOMY).
Likewise, she continues to fight covering all the mechanisms to obtain chemotherapies by national means.
According to the doctors' evaluation, Gladys treatment should be started at the beginning of September 2019 and will take about two years.
From now on, Gladys needs support to cover her living expenses and travel expenses to go to the city of Cúcuta - Colombia for radiotherapy sessions.
