Cure for Kendall and Support for the TenEyck Fam

Kendall is sweet, spunky and full of character. She’s your typical busy two year old who has a way of putting a smile on your face.  Kendall is an identical twin and one of six kids.   Her parents, Julie and Jeremiah noticed on July 5th Kendall was stumbling and unable to stand up without swaying.  The Pediatrician sent them to Albany Med Pediatric ER. They did a cat scan which showed a mass in the base of Kendall's brain near her cerebellum.  Kendall was admitted to the PICU and scheduled for a sedated MRI the following morning. That scan showed a tumor that was 2.5 cm.  The neuro surgeon said in order to get a better idea of what they were dealing with they needed a neuro navigational MRI. This would give them a better idea if the tumor was operable or not.

On Tuesday July 9, 2019 Kendall’s team confirmed that the only surgical option would be to remove a portion of it which could potentially leave her with her entire right side being paralyzed.

The oncologist gave all the options and the best one to choose was to begin radiation at this time and when the tumor has shrunk a surgical intervention can take place safely.

Kendall will begin her radiation in about a week and a half for 6 weeks, Monday-Friday under sedation.

Kendall and her family have a long road ahead of them.  They need support, prayers, love, and a miracle.
