Ciao sono una mamma,
Madre di quattro figli e abito in un paesino della Sicilia.
Io e mio marito abbiamo creduto nella musica e i miei figli si sono appassionati.
Abbiamo venduto tutto quello che si poteva, per farli studiare e comprare gli strumenti musicali. Il mio anello di fidanzamento è diventato un pianoforte, gli orecchini di perle regalo di matrimonio si sono trasformati in un Oboe.
Scrivo per il mio terzo figlio Gabriele, che con tanti sacrifici della famiglia studia in Conservatorio a Bologna. Quest’anno si laurea in composizione.
Il suo sogno è di fare il compositore di colonne sonore.
Vuole fare un master negli Stati Uniti, che gli consentirebbe l’ingresso nel mondo del lavoro cose che in Sicilia non è possibile. Gabriele è destinato nel rientro nel nostro paese e se tutto va bene a fare il commesso.
Mio figlio è un ragazzo brillante in conservatorio, con ottimi voti ed è molto doloroso per una madre farlo rientrare in paese senza un futuro in prospettiva. Poiché le condizioni economiche nostre sono devastanti.
Aiutatemi a realizzare il sogno di mio figlio.

Hi, I am a mother of four children and I live in a small village in Sicily.
My husband and I believed in music and my children are all passionate about it.
We sold everything we could to have them studied and buy musical instruments.
My engagement ring became a Piano, the pearl earrings offered to me as a wedding gift turned into “Oboe”.
I am writing for my third son Gabriele, who with great family sacrifice studied at the Bologna Conservatory. This year he will graduate in musical composition. His greatest dream is to become a soundtrack composer.
He would like to do a master's degree in the United States that will allow him to enter the world of music and would allow him to work as a composer, which is impossible in Sicily.
Gabriele is destined to return to our village at the end of his studies and hopefully he will be able to work as a salesman in a supermarket.
My son is brilliant at the conservatory, he has excellent grades and it is very painful for a mother not to be able to offer him the opportunity of an amazing future.
Our economic conditions are precarious.
