My name is Cullen, and I am an 8th grader at GPA in Allston, MA. I'm not your average around the way kid. I come from a lifestyle where much of my childhood is centered around taking care of myself and raising my little sister. I watch my family battle some of life's worst obstacles. I live in public housing. I go to a public school. I live a positive life despite the negative elements that surround me. I have role models, and goals, and bigger dreams than what I see on a regular basis. I have hopes of making my family proud and being my mother's first born to make it. I refuse to allow my shortcomings to hold me back from a bright future. I am a sports-driven, well rounded kid that wants a promising future. I aspire to use my academic and athletic talents to get me far. Baseball is a such a pivotal part of my life. Yet, getting the real professional experience at my age doesn't come easy and it doesn't come free.

This opportunity will give you the ability to develop and enhance your baseball skills, while competing against the best local and national talent. The opportunity to compete against and learn from the best will prepare you for varsity high school baseball and beyond."
This is the first paragraph from a letter I received that will allow me an opportunity of a lifetime to get one step closer to making my dreams a reality. "Baseball Unlimited offers professional training to baseball players looking to take their skills to the next level. Headlined by Zenith Marimon and Rich Cordani, the Baseball Unlimited staff consists of former collegiate and professional players. Each staff member is well versed in the fundamentals of baseball."

I would greatly appreciate any donation no matter how big or how small to help me toward my goal. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go directly to my AAU training program expenses, uniform costs, and travel expenses to and from Baseball Unlimited's training facility in Waltham, MA.
