Manuel Alers Cancer Surgery

There is only one title that holds any meaning in life for men and women, Father and Mother. All other ones president, mayor, manager, designer, coach, cannot emulate the importance of those titles.

My brother and I both became fathers in 2017. I had a son and he had a daughter, and we love them more than anything. We cannot even put into words how much we love them every single day just as much as the last.

We know now first hand how our father felt about us when we were babies growing up.

Our father raised us to be respectful kind strong men that never forget we have one life to live. The only way to live is to be brave men who try their best.

Today its him who is being brave and trying his best to cope with his diagnosis. Cancer is something my family has been all too familiar with these past few years. My family has had many losses and few victories. Our sister was diagnosed late last yr with "Hodgkins Lymphoma" at the age of 11.  Our father was there every step of the way comforting her and telling her everything would be ok.  Our sister now has made it through all the chemo and has been cancer free for the past 7 months. Now its on my brother, my sister and me to tell our father everything will be alright and help him through this.

Our father was recently diagnosed with Mucoepidermoid carcinoma. Right now it is not clear how much its grown or spread but surgery is required immediately. 

We are trying to raise money to put the down payment required for the surgery, as well as to help with the medical bills while our father is unable to work. 

I'm asking everyone with any title to help us by donating whatever you can to help us pay for the surgery he needs to save his life. Father is a title we both try our hardest to honor everyday because our father honored it and gave us the best example.
