Cuddle Cot in Memory of Liam S.
Donation protected
On behalf of Ashley and Jeff’s efforts to help families who encounter a situation like theirs, Bread & Honey is hosting a campaign to raise funds that will allow them to donate to another hospital in need.
What is a Cuddle Cot?
A Cuddle Cot is a cooling bassinet that is available for families who have a baby that is born still, like Liam. This allows the family to spend more time with their baby while they come to terms with their loss.
“Liam entered this world via c-section many hours later on August 22nd. We made it to the recovery room with a Cuddle Cot. This cot allowed us to keep Liam cool over the next couple of days. The nurse got the cot ready as I look at him trying to wrap my brain around the fact that I won’t be able to feed him, hear him cry, or laugh.”
-Ashley, Liam’s Mom
By launching this campaign and achieving our goal, Ashley and Jeff will be able to donate another Cuddle Cot to a hospital that may not already have one available for parents like themselves. This was very important to them while they had to manage making proper arrangements for their day-old son. Instead of having to let him go right away, they were able to hold him and talk to him.
Help us help the Spyrka family fulfill their dream of getting a Cuddle Cot into hospitals everywhere for grieving parents.
