Cubit Club Cycle Ride
Tax deductible
In these strange times that we are currently living we hope you're keeping well and are still fit and active.
Do you fancy a bike ride? Yes folks we invite you, your families, wives, partners, children, your friends, in fact anyone who would like to get involved.
We are figuratively riding from Lands' End to John O'Groats (953 miles) in a combined virtual sponsored bike ride on the 3rd June, commencing at 11 am for 7 days. You can ride anywhere; locally to you, in your front room on an exercise bike, slightly further afield or for those really keen cyclists you can really go for it and bank plenty of miles for us.
So who actually can be involved - you, fellow lodge members, family, wives, partners, children, friends or cycle club associates if you know any, ANYONE and EVERYONE can take part!
Why are we doing this? Fundamentally, to celebrate freemasonry and to celebrate freemasonry in Worcestershire, June the 3rd would have been the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting where we would have celebrated another successful year in the province of Worcestershire.
But we also want to attract sponsorship of £1 per mile ridden, a family of four from the same household enjoying a sunny cycle of 10 miles together could raise £40 and give everyone a boost at the same time (a family of four who cycle 10 miles together = 40 miles banked).
