As some of our friends and family know at just 31 years old, Lennette Gurrola was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on February 2018. Lennette is a mother, wife, daughter, sister. She has two beautiful kids, Addie 5 and Antonio 3.
At first the news was a bit overwhelming to say the least due to the uncertainty of what the outcome would be. Many nights were spend going over the what ifs and wondering if she had any regrets. Though with the help of her close knit family she was able to find strength and determination to beat this illness as she still has a long life ahead of her.
As of June 27, 2018 she has completed the initial part of her treatment which consisted of 6 rounds of chemotherapy. The next step will be going through a mastectomy as her tumor did not completely disappear as doctors expected.
The date for the procedure is not set, but will be within the next few weeks. After undergoing surgery, she will proceed to the last phase her treatment, which will consist of 5 weeks of radiation.
Throughout her short journey she had endured many nights of physical illness and pain, yet the mental anguish and financial stability have also affected her entire family.
It has taken months of going back and forth to decide to make this public as well as coming to the decision of creating a gofundme account.
Lennette Gurrola invities anyone and everyone who is willing to lend a helping hand to donate. Proceeds would be used to help with the stability of her husband who is the only one working at the moment.
