WHAT IS THE RTDNA?: The Radio Television Digital News Association is a United States-based membership organization of radio, television, and online news directors, producers, executives, reporters, students, and educators. This association has been around for 74 years and focuses on establishing ethical and responsible journalists while advocating for the freedom of the press.
WHAT IS THE CSUN RTDNA CHAPTER? CSUN RTDNA is a nationally recognized club on the California State University, Northridge campus. CSUN RTDNA is a student-run club on campus that tries to connect students interested in journalism and media to establishes networks through the club. The work that CSUN RTDNA does guides and trains students looking to work in the news industry. The club connects students with working professionals as well as workshops and visits to a number of media organizations.
WHY WE MADE THE GOFUND ME PAGE: We have set up this gofundme with the hope of raising funds to create tee shirts for members especially those who will be graduating next semester. We would also like to raise funds to have an end of the school year banquet for all of our members and raise money to visit and connect with other multimedia industry professionals. We want our members to be able to have representation and memorabilia for the club. We hope to also be able to buy equipment for our members to practice and use and be able to go to journalism camps to network and develop more skills. This fund will also be used to provide all our members with memberships to the RTDNA national organization.
Please help our members reach our goal so we are able to provide to our members and participate nationally with the RTDNA.
