Hello and thank you for stopping by! John's daughter Sarah here. We decided that it'd be easier if I set up a fundraiser in my name in order to get the donations to John. There are issues with him doing so himself, not only because of his illness but also because of strict banking laws in Malaysia and lack of gofundme support in that region. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'll be withdrawing your donations into my personal account in Germany and transferring them to John as it's the only possible way. Any taxes and costs on my end will be borne by me.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Marc Torres for organising the original GoFundMe, and to thank each and every one of you who have already donated. I hope you all know what a difference your kind donations will make in helping John receive quality care at home. I don't know what else to say, and the guys did such a good job on the previous GoFundMe that I'll hand it over to them now...

John King is one of the most inspiring people you can ever meet.  He's the guy you meet and actually become a better person for it. Through the recent, difficult days he's been facing we've been told countless times, "John has had such a positive impact on my life...I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn’t for him."

John's passion has always been racing and when real life racing was over he switched his focus to the virtual world of iRacing.  Since then John has been an amazing influence within this community not only for the iRacing platform but also at the individual level...touching the lives of so many.  After joining iRacing in 2010, John managed and owned Black Adder Motorsport and then Kinetic Racing while also participating on The Majors Series Competition Committee.  As a team owner he created a community within his teams that is more like a family and each member feels a true connection to John.  When we learned of his diagnosis we were all rocked by the news.

In October, John began his battle with stage 3 brain cancer and it has taken a huge toll on his body.  With COVID it's impossible for any of us to help him physically but thankfully at home he's in the hands of some of the best caregivers we can hope for.  At this time the only help we can offer is by supporting him financially to aid in the cost of his medical care and so the community he has given so much to will now have a chance to give back to him.

The Majors Series organizers have graciously offered to use one of the biggest events of the year to help fundraise for John during The Majors Daytona 500 on Feb 20th/21st and the support races which occur the week before. We encourage all of John's supporters, friends, and family to join in the effort by donating and watching the races at the scheduled times below.  Several cars participating in the even will be wearing #RacingForJohn to show their support and there will also be a tribute for John on each broadcast so we hope you're able to tune in.  Leading up to and throughout the race week we will be accepting donations of any amount but we have suggested donations of $25 (Bronze), $50 (Silver), and $100 (Gold).

Thank you in advance for the love, prayers, well wishes, and donations that will come in and for the ones who have already donated. As soon as we decided to start fundraising, before even speaking with anyone, I picked $6,000 as the goal since John's favorite number is #6. But after learning more about John's current medical costs not covered by insurance I've decided to increase the goal to $10,000. This is still not close to the amount he's already spent but considering how quickly everyone responded I know we can do more to help.

Links for all the broadcasts will be shared when they are available and all 3 races will be streamed on YouTube.
