CSSL Gaynor Cup and Kennedy Cup 2022

The Gaynor Cup (U14 Girls) and Kennedy Cup (U14 Boys) competitions are hosted anually in UL and consist of a week long festival of football for all leagues in the country.

 

This year the Gaynor cup starts Tuesday 7th June 2022 (ending Sat 11th) with the Kennedy Cup on the following week.

 

Part of the experience for the boys and girls is staying for the week in the student accomodation in UL. It is a unique experience and gives them memories for life.

 

The costs of entering a team in these competions approaches €10,000 per team annually (so a total cost of €20,000 in total).

 

This covers the following cost heads for one team (approximate costs below also for the larger items):

 

 

We have had significant help from sponsors to cover some of the above costs and the boys and girls themselves raised over €5,000 from a sponsored run/walk.

We would really appreciate any and all contributions towards the significant cost of entering these competitions. The children pay a membership fee themselves that covers the costs of running their training programmes (buses to matches etc) through the year. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be applied to the above costs with a full breakdown being published post event on our website www.cssl.ie.
