Tabula Rasa; a "clean slate", the ability to overcome challenge and rebuild our hearts, minds and skills to help our children reach their full potential regardless of their diagnosis.
This is our story and the story of all parents of children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental challenges. How to find an effective solution of teaching your child how to function to their best ability in our critical and demanding world.
The Tabula Rasa Autism Foundation is made up of parents and elite educators who together have over 30 years of experience with special needs children. We have come together and put this foundation in place to help support our goal of opening a learning center for children with special learning needs. The Center for Social & Intellectual Development (CSID) will be based in Long Island, New York.
The main focus of CSID is the development of intellectual & social skills in a group setting for children with Autism Spectrum and other developmental disorders. CSID will have an all-encompassing co-curricular program that will target the most important skills necessary for all our children. In general, group settings have a very limited emphasis on incorporating social skills. CSID creates successful individuals who are able to spontaneously navigate both social and academic environments.

§ Obtaining educational tools and equipment
§ Funding our programs
§ Many other valuable resources to help with our success
