Hello,
My name is Crystal. Loneliness and feelings of disconnection are at epidemic levels today, and especially here in America. Despite being able to "connect" to millions at a moment’s notice, we rarely listen to or really see one another. I am working to bridge this disconnect, to raise awareness and assist in every way that I can. I am in the process of attaining my certification to become a "cuddler." (one of PA's first) I am happy and grateful to say that I have a secure location to cuddle clients safely and now all I need is you.
Starting a "touch therapy" business has been a long-time goal of mine. I have set my intention and I will continue to work towards personal growth and attaining certifications in multiple healing arts. But this is where my journey begins.
I am grateful for all the help and assistance that I have already received. Samantha Hess, founder of "Cuddle Up To Me" and Crystal Hoffman, founder of "Metta: A Healing Arts Community" have inspired me beyond words and have lit a fire in me that I can no longer ignore.
If you've ever benefited from a hug, if you've ever felt the positive effects of holding someone, and if you've ever understood the debilitating depression that can accompany loneliness, then I humbly ask you to join me in making a change.
I am specifically asking for assistance because my children mean the world to me, and I believe we can make it a better place for them.
The funds I am requesting will be used to pay for the certification and travel costs. I will be flying to Portland Oregon to learn from the best. The cost for the class I will be taking will be roughly 1500, the flight roughly 450, and the hotel approximately 500. I am anticipating to go the week of January the 8th, 2018 and am hoping to reach my goal or 2500 by then. Any excess funds will be used to pay legal fees to become and LLC (which I just verified will come to roughly 600)and to purchase business cards and flyers.
