Cronin Family Recovery

When it rains it pours... Back in April my mother, Monique Cronin, was diagnosed with breast cancer and began her treatments. It was going to be a long road but regardless of the medical bills we were about to face my parents, my sister and myself were ready for it. Through all of this my dad, Mike Cronin, was her rock. He was there for all her appontments and could hardly bare to leave her side ever.

Tragically on monday my dad took a very hard fall down the stairs in the middle of the night. We found him unresponsive in a pool of blood and came to find out that he suffered from bleeding on the brain, several skull fractures and multiple other broken bones; he has not woken up since. He was airlifted from CMC to Dartmouth in Lebanon due to the extent of his injuries and the urgency for a specialized ICU team. To our understanding helicopter ride is not covered under insurance so the bills are piling up fast. We are hopeful for a good outcome but regardless  of when he wakes up, let alone the condition he will be in, the doctors have said he will be there for weeks if not months or more. My mother has made it perfectly clear she will not leave without him and has moved her treatments to the hospital he is in. My parents were already making ends meet with making sure my mother beat this cancer that to now take on a trauma like this is unbelievable. I would love to give my mother a small piece of mind in knowing that she will not have this enormous financial nightmare to face alone and that we will have help. We don't know when he will wake up, things are going day by day so I don't know how long my Mom will need to stay up there so hotels will get expensive.

Before all of this it seemed that they had almost hit their honey moon stage for the second time. They have been married for 23 years and my Mother is the light of my Father's life. They have always been a wonderful example of true love and marriage. To see all of this happen to them is devestating.

This was so unexpected we are very unprepared so any donation you can spare would be amazing. Every little bit helps and please share this and spread the word, we need all the help and prayers we can get.
