Rekindling Hope: A Fundraising Call

I am Tareq, and i am conveying a cry for help from my cousin Ahmed and his wife Heba:

In the midst of an ongoing humanitarian crisis, I reach out to you with a plea for urgent assistance. My name is Hiba Jihad, and I am writing to shed light on the dire situation facing my family and countless others in Gaza.

As the world watches, Gaza is engulfed in a horrifying conflict, with innocent lives being lost every day. The atrocities being committed are beyond comprehension, with families torn apart and futures shattered.

My husband, Ahmed, and I, along with our children, find ourselves trapped in this nightmare. Every moment is a battle for survival, with the constant threat of violence looming over us. We dream of nothing more than to escape this hellish reality and find safety and refuge elsewhere.

However, the path to freedom is fraught with obstacles. The Rafah Port, our only lifeline to escape to Egypt, demands a staggering 65,000 CAD simply to pass through its gates. This exorbitant fee is beyond our means, yet it is our only hope for salvation.

We appeal to your kindness and generosity to help us raise the funds needed to secure safe passage out of Gaza. Every dollar brings us closer to safety, to a future where we can rebuild our shattered lives away from the horrors of war.

Please, open your hearts to our plight. Your support could mean the difference between life and death for my family and countless others like us.
